July 9th 2024 we all awoke to a fresh new Roblox banwave brought to you by yours truly the Hyperion anti cheat/tamper dev team. It's not clear how many externals got affected by this but EVERY script executor was 100% targeted and detected including Electron, Wave, Solara, Celery (No android executors were in this banwave) as far as DX9, celery and other external aimbot/esp softwares go I cannot comment as I wasn't using these myself and haven't seen anyone report a ban that was using them. The majority of people banned were those that used Solara & Wave as these are two of the biggest script executors/exploits on the market currently. Solara is completely free to use and to be honest we all expected this to be met with a banwave at some point as even the owner of Solara himself stated its not hard for Roblox to detect. Wave on the other hand costs money to use and charges a very high price for what is recognized to be the most detected executor right now (Roblox staff themselves said that Wave broke the record for best detection as they not only triggered the Roblox anti tamper/cheat but also triggered the Roblox anti botting detection.) So here we are in July 2024, Electron launched again on the 5th and was detected in a banwave that occurred on the 9th. Electron has yet to make an official statement on this and people have already lost faith in Cheat Buddys "Sysguard" solution. As somebody who is closely associated with Electron and has all the insider information I can tell you right now that the party is not yet over and Electron is being updated right now. We are here for the long term and until I make an official post saying Roblox has won, the war against Hyperion continues and the community remains alive. Electron had limited sales on release so an extremely small number of users were affected (257 official electron buyers + around 1k previous buyers who got given 2 month free keys) which is great compared to Wave selling a fully overpriced executor when its the most heavily detected piece of software on Roblox right now. For all those existing Electron users possibly reading this then remember once Electron comes back online you will be compensated for lost time. I know lots of people right now are using Android emulators to cheat or using Mac cheats but remember Roblox has been working on a solution for Android since last December so expect banwave on that platform in the coming months.
